My dad is a real golfer, playing every weekend, watching every tournament on the television and he hates Tiger Woods, but for what reason? Well I asked him and his opinion is that Tiger has brought in a lot of people that do not really care about the sport at all. I have to say that whenever I do (on the rare occassion) sit down and watch a bit of golf there is always some moron that shouts “Get In The Hole” whenever Tiger takes a shot and this doesn’t matter if it is physically impossible to get the putt or hole in one.

The Opinion Of The Other Golfers?

The thing that even annoys me is the fact that often people jsut forget about all of the other golfers in the season and just cheer on Woods, this is very wrong indeed. On the other hand I will admit that he does bring in a lot of passion to the sport but this can be said for nearly every other golfer that plays in the PGA which is why people should not just be always following him around the course.

I personally think that golf will see a lot less viewings this year which is a real shame as yes Tiger is a great player but the best, well it doesnt seem that way does it..
